I'm selling second-hand books and usually have just one book per product if you know what I mean. I can place a product with 0 as stock level, and the customer get's a "Not available" sign. But when someone buys a book and the stock level automatically drops from 1 to 0, the product also become "Out of stock" and is not visible in my shop.

Is it possible to still have my product visible in my shop even if the stock level drops to 0?

Sincerely,

Stig

Did you have a look at the stock section in the admin?

Yes, I did. But I'm not sure if I will find the answer there. This is my current values:

Check stock level: true

Subtract stock: true

Allow Checkout: false

Mark product out of stock: SOLD

Stock Re-order level: 5

I've tried to change the value on Subtract stock from "true" to "false", but then again when the book is sold I DO want the stock to drop from 1 to 0. I just don't want the product to disappear from the inventory (from green to red in the admin).

Maybe I didn't make myself clear enough. I don't want the product to become inactive (red light) when the stock drops from 1 to 0.

SOLVED!

I just changed the "Allow checkout" from FALSE to TRUE. Just as simple as that. Feeling kind of stupid right now, but thanks for trying to help me
