Additional Customer fields

Hello,

 

Have installed osC yesterday and have to ask questions that may be simple for you guys:

 

How to create additional fields for customer registration and make them compulsory?

 

Can I delay registration and e-mail login/password to a new customer after some verification?

(Shop is intended for retailers only).

 

Can I redirect client to login page directly from index.php , or even before that, as I have intro page index.htm that will point to index.php in /catalog/?

The structure is /public_html/catalog/...

Can I create a copy of login.php in /public_html/ and point to it from index.htm (which is in the same directory) and force login/registration?
