jscrilla
So I installed the contribution vvc_verify earlier this afternoon. Everything works great, except I have the old white box with a red X. I maintain my own Ubuntu server and GD is installed with PHP5. I ran a test script, as well as the php info function. Both claim that GD is enabled. Here's the results of the test. GD Version Yes FreeType Support Yes FreeType Linkage Yes T1Lib Support Yes GIF Read Support Yes GIF Create Support Yes JPG Support Yes PNG Support Yes WBMP Support Yes XPM Support No XBM Support No JIS-mapped Japanese Font Support No Also my site, which is still very young is located at http:www.dotondesigns.com Please help me solve this problem, as I'm racking my brain trying to figure out what's wrong to no avail. Thanks!
jscrilla
OK, so I know the GD Library is working now. I've done some test scripts that work. However, I still can't get the vvc_verify to work. I double checked every bit of code in the read me file, even recreated the two key pages vvc_verify and the other include function. It still won't work. Can someone who installed this help me trouble shoot the problem?

Can you help me? Hello apassos, I searched the forum and found your post, now I am having the same problem as what you described before. My VVC can work for one shop, but can not for another shop(only display red X in a white box), these two shops are in the same server, and the source codes are the same. Please kindly advise how did you resolve the problem, thank you! Best regards, allright

Thanks! Check if in php.ini you have enabled (uncommented ' ; ') gd2.dll (or gd.dll) and check if you have this file placed in extension directory of php. By default this directory is /ext subdirectory from php instalation. Same check if your extension directory is correct set in php.ini (were is cd2.dll or gd.dll) Restart your web sever and try again. Of course if you use linux you must to check the gd libraries for linux not dll. because in php.ini is used the same logic.
