Warning: session_start(): Message on Index Page

I'm new to all this, but I just installed OS on my godaddy shared economy hosting account. I created the db and have everything setup, but on the index page I still have two error messages at the top of the page.

 

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/L/I/t/LItalyNorth1/html/shop/index.php:4) in /home/content/L/I/t/LItalyNorth1/html/shop/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97

 

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/content/L/I/t/LItalyNorth1/html/shop/index.php:4) in /home/content/L/I/t/LItalyNorth1/html/shop/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 97
