merchbot
Is there any way to set only some items to offer unlimited inventory? I have a site that sells a mix of t-shirts that are slow to restock and novelties that can be restocked almost instantly, and it would be REALLY nice to not have to monitor the site inventory for things that we never really run out of. I know I could set the stock quantity at a million, but I'm looking for a cleaner option.
merchbot
Is this even possible? I've searched the forums and the contributions, but I can't find anything that looks as if it might work. I'm hoping that the keywords I'm using are just not correct.
Guest
This is just a bump really, I'm interested in this feature as well. It seems like it should be fairly easy to implement and I'm surprised if no one else has had a need for this.
FridayNight
I was searching the forum for a better solution then to set the "Check stock level" to false, the "subtract stock" to false and the "allow checkout setting" to true... but I did not find a solution for products with infinite stock. Sure it will work with these settings, but the other "normal" products loose their stock ability too. Maybe there is somebody who wrote a nice little script and want to share it? abbott75
Sorry to bump this ancient thread, but I would love this feature, and it doesn't appear to be too hard for someone with the know-how (ie, not me :'( ) to implement. Does anyone know how to do it? Cheers
