USPS usually drops by around 4:00PM but none of my family members will be present at that time. Is there any way to make USPS just drop off my item? Dennisra Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 Phone your postal station and ask to talk with your route person (if available, they may have left the station already) or the delivery supervisor and explain your situation. There is no set policy. It depends on whatever the people you talk to want to do. If they don't deliver it today you can pick it up the next day at the postal station that delivers your mail.
