problems with fatal errors and warnings

All of a sudden people cannot view the download links to my downloadable products. I have gone into the admin area to retrace my steps and find that the shipping and payment modules are not working.

 

For some reason it keeps trying to refer to my backups of files:

If someone could please help I would appreciate it. I have tried reuploading files, and verifying if there were files missing or in the wrong directory and I don't see anything that jumps out at me.
