sheepiedog Posted July 27, 2006 Share Posted July 27, 2006 Right now my zip code length in admin can only be 6 digits - I would like to be able to input the 5 digit zip plus the dash and 4 digits (plus) This is possible if you are a customer and signed into your account but is not possible for me to input on the admin side of the same account. Can someone please advise me what I need to change so that I may amend zip codes to larger than 6 digits on the admin side. I am assuming it is a setting in my database, but am not sure....... sheepiedog Posted August 21, 2006 Author Share Posted August 21, 2006 after much searching through the database. Couldnt find anywhere to adjust the zip/postal code length from the admin side. So I checked admin/customers.php and on two lines, (550 and 555) there was an '8' requirement, I changed that to '10' in both places and it now allows me to add 10 digits/characters in the admin customer postal/zip code field. I am hoping this doesnt mess up anything else. I have added a new account from the admin side with no problem.....fingers crossed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
