Hello all at osCommerce!

My name is Lukasz and I have an osCommerce store at infectiousstore.com. My question is this.... I was looking into purchasing a template online but was viewing the source code for the one i wanted to purchase and i saw that they do not use php vs. mine does. (I quest i might have a couple questions) Would a php site be better or worse? Also, if i do my own design for the webpage using photoshop/dreamweaver. How easy would it be to convert my current store to the new, going from php based to html based? and last, would i be able to configure my php site to work with a new design for the entire site?

thank you

P.S. this would be my first time opperating a store as well as my first introduction to php. Bear with me while i attempt to learn anything you attempt to show me.

thank you again!

How do you know it is not a php site? Oscommerce is only php. if you are reading the source code you will not see php codes, you will only see the html. If you look at the address bar of the browser you should see the file extention .php
