holliep
My new store is not finished but i'm trying to prioritise what to do next. I've just tried the ultimate SEO contribution but it didn't work so i've removed it. I'd be interested in what members would do next: http://www.coochishoo.com/catalog/ thanks in advance
Andrew Yuen
I would change the arrows in the navigation to a color that matches your website not blue. Your right category icon on this page: http://coochishoo.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=3 is broken. I recommend deleting the Languages infobox if you only have one language to choose from. Also the link rollover does not match the overall color of your website layout. I would finally recommend getting a SSL cert for your store. sharplab
Overall pretty clean but 3 things catch my eye quick! 1) Shut Off Your Category Counts (just bogs load time and a waste of a stat) 2) In your manufacturers box you should reduce your manufacturers images to something like a 75x75 or 100x75. Those bigger manufacturer logos are eating up from your product descroption center table and it looks bad. 3) Definately need to add some ultimate SEO urls and Header Tags! These are free and easy to install for the most part. They are in the contributions forum. Also make sure you are forcing cookies and preventing spider sessions. These settings are made with one click in your ADMIn control panel! Keep up the good work! One more thing... Get rid of the Top>>Catalog Its bad for search engines and what does "Top" mean anyway :-)! You can easily change this in your: includes/languages. english.php file You will see it, just change Top and Catalog to something like: Discount and Shoes so it will read like this: Discount>>Shoes Steve Current Contributions: Page Cache, Center Store, Ultimate URL's, Header Tags, Product Description , Image Add To Cart - , Store Cache

What are the benefits to doing this? I intend to get the site live without an SSL certificate and no merchant account etc. If I start to get a few sales then I will add these in. Should I still enable it now? thanks
