Account Creation: Error!

I have brought to you a visual presentation of my problem.

 

On the account creation page, when a new user tries to register, there's quite the odd thing happening.

 

 

First off, as seen in the first image, there is no "pull down menu" to select the state from. You can type in it, and when typing, for example "Wisconsin," the next page that gives the error recognizes the state.

 

The pull down menu shows up upon submission, along with the error:

 

"Please select a state from the States pull down menu"

 

 

You can see in screenshots two and three, that the pull down menu is showing, and suprisingly "Wisconsin" as I typed it in is already selected by default.

 

 

But wait! Screenshot three shows that Wisconsin is listed not once, but TWICE within the selection box. Neither of these "Wisconsin" entries allow for success when selected and submitted.

 

Could anybody please help? >_<

I just found the fix from another topic that was just posted.

 

Hopefully this will help people find answers faster than I did if anybody searches for this.

In addition to the problem, actually, was that for some reason "Wisconsin" was listed twice in the database. Deleting the first entry for Wisconsin from the database worked beautifully.

 

If anybody else notices that they don't have any customers from Wisconsin, I would suggest doing the above. ;)
