i have a page which the server gives me a free script of ecommerce installed on it, but all the time when i try to change(editing) the index text by using the FILE MANAGER it says:

Error: I can not write to this file. Please set the right user permissions on: /home/orphanle/public_html/shop/includes/languages/english/index.php

if i try to download the file and change it manually it says another error on line 13 and sometimes on line 18!!!

what can i do to fix it? i need change the text!!!

this is my shop: http://orphaned-disciples.com/shop/index.php

i wanna change this default text to my own one!!! how can i do it?

Do you have ftp access to your website this would be better, the filemanager.php needs all files to be at best chmodded to 755 or 777 in the catalog/ folder to access them, if you have ftp access, simply download the file, modify and upload.

Hope this helps.

are you uploading in ASCII and not binary for php files, also can you post your catalog/includes/languages file that you changed.

In admin control panel: localisation - langauges, delete from here, then remove the folders under catalog/includes/languages and admin/includes/languages.
