Product Attribute Category Images

I have looked all over for a solution to this but to no resolution. Basically what im trying to do is this. For example, if you have a product, lets say a basic shirt, and you have several additional attribute options below lets say for example, pants, shoes, etc... So for instnace it would look something like this.

 

 

MAIN PRODUCT (SHIRT) $10.00

 

 

 

Advailable Options

 

 

Pants (PANTS IMAGE.jpg)

- small

-medium

-large

 

 

Shoes (SHOES IMAGE.jpg)

-small

-medium

-large

 

 

I tried options for images contrib, but that does not work for me since it adds images to every product option. I just think there should be a way to add an image for the attribute category like the above example. If anyone can help, I would be greatly appreciative for it as I have searched for sumtin that would work for a long while.
