celestial
:'( My store was just installed today and I had to modify the php files to change the password for my database. I am now getting a message at the top of my store home page - Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /home/users/web/myweb/htdocs/store/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. I received this message after I modified the php files myself. What can I do to remove this message? Thanks! celestial
Use your ftp client or control panel to set the proper access to that file (chmod) 444 Thanks for the info! Could you tell me how to do that through the control panel? I am not sure how this control panel works. Cheers!
celestial
Nevermind my previous post. I was able to change it through my hosting file manager program. Cheers!
