I am looking to update our flash introduction on our site www.mountain-marine.com I am new to the back office side of the website and did not place this original file. I was wondering if anyone knows of any flash animation packages that i can download in order to create something similar to what we have already on there. Guest Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 I doubt if you'll find any pre-made animation packages that would be similar to what's currently on the site. However, it is a very simple Flash animation. If you don't have the original Flash file [.fla] then you would have to build the animation from scratch. But again, it is very simple. You would need the Flash program, then build the new animation, the publish it as a .swf file. If you gave the new .swf file the same name as the old one, then all you would have to do is upload the new one to the server which would over-write the old one, and wallah, the new animation would be on the home page. However, you would also have to make the new .swf the same size as the old one, otherwise it will be distorted. If you want to change the size, you'd have to re-insert the .swf in the page using Dreamsweaver or straight HTML code. It's similiar to inserting a regular image. Hope this helps.
