Kirsty Posted July 25, 2006 Share Posted July 25, 2006 Hi all I'm completely new to this, and I'm trying to install it and believe it or not I'm stuck at step 1!!!! All the folders are uploaded using FTP: catalog catalog/admin extras It then tells me to go to http://yourserver/catalog/install/ and click the install button - but when I type this into my URL all I get is page cannot be displayed.. any ideas? ;) Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The root folder on mine is in /web/content/ - but I tried uploading to htdocs just incase, but get - You are not authorized to view this page You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you believe you should be able to view this directory or page, please try to contact the Web site by using any e-mail address or phone number that may be listed on the www.computersonthecheap.com home page.
