configure?

Hello all,

 

I've been searching this forum for the last 3 days and though it was brought up severel times I never found a real answer. I hate to waste your time but I had to post here.

 

The thing is. I installed the catalog to a directory called members. Then I thought it was silly to have it called members/catalog and I moved the shop up to members. I have edited the configurfe.php files removing references to catalog. All is fine except the links in the catgories box still point to catalog. If the products are in the what's new etc. boxes they show you the product. Only the categories links don't work. Admin seems to be all right.

 

Shall I use the installer again? Would that put it right?

 

Please somebody help me. I am spending way too much time on this.

Did you change both includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php?

This seems to have fixed mine. I just didn't change every reference to the old folder. Check yours and be sure you got them all.

Thanks for everybody, you were all right but I figured out what I was doing wrong after all this time wasted.

Here's what it is.

 

When I downloaded/uploaded the catalog I selected all files. That includes the cache files which have the old paths cached in them. I have deleted those and everything's working fine. End of nightmare. I hope this will be help for somebody.
