jpweber
Hello. My OSC is coming along great; I'm a PHP newbie and still, the 4 contributions are installed and working fine. Now it's payment time -- it's why we make these sites, isn't it? Well, does anyone have a quick 1-2-3 on how to do this? Call Paypal and purchase an account with them? Then download the contribution, follow the instructions, and install the module? Then I'm all set to go? What's SSL and API? That's all that needs to be answered. Only read more if you're interested! Thank you! J ----------------------------------- Just in case this helps, I'm with a host, on their Linux server, and here's what the host says: Payment Gateways: PayPal, TrueCommerce, PSiGate, SecPay, iPayment, Authorize.net and 2-Checkout And here's what my host says about "SSL" -- this is ALL Greek to me; no idea what it means: Shared SSL paths (On our servers) For Linux-hosted web sites: https://servername.domainnameservers.net/~u...me/filename.htm Your Own SSL Path Installation and IP Cost: $40 setup and $5.00 per month These charges do not include the cost for the actual signed key. You will need to pay the certificate signer directly. How do I get my own? Contact Buzix Billing at x703 to pay the setup fee. Buzix will generate the CSR and send it to you via email. You'll give this to the certificate signer (see below) and they will send you a key. You'll give us the key and we will install it for you. Certificate Signers: Buzix Customers can order an SSL Certificate for just $49.95 a year. If you already have a domain purchasing account, click the SSL Certificate tab at the top of the page. Click here to log in now! More SSL options are available from Thawte and VeriSign. If you made it this far, thanks for taking the time to read this. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated! I really just need the simple 1-2-3 and I'll figure the rest out on my own. Thanks!!!!
