Hey guys,

Im new to oscommerce but not to scripts in general so Im having one small problem with oscommerce, I enabled the USPS module for shipping and entered my user name and pass for USPS.com and when I try to do a test checkout I get the following error:

"An error occured with the USPS shipping calculations.

If you prefer to use USPS as your shipping method, please contact the store owner."

Could anyone help me out with this? I entered the item weight as 1.0, 1.00 and just 1 since its 1 pound and the same results everytime :(

Check and make sure under configuration|Shipping and packing that you entered your store's zipcode. I learned that one the hard way

Larry in Houston,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I was messing with the USPS module for about an hour and this included my time wading through all the posts on this topic...that was, until I found yours! I comletely forgot to add in that darn zip code...I found your post, put in my zip code and BINGO baabbeee!!! Thanks man, much appreciated...and I would venture to say that almost 90% of the posts after yours might be fixed with this same input...thanks, it's community members like you who make this disucssion board just ROCK!!!!

Cheers,

Travis
