Njuwdaij Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Hi, I 'succesfully' installed Down for Maintenance v2.1 and it is working fine, but now all the standard text (from includes/languages/english.php and the other languages) doesn't show. You see only the and other textlinks: ENTRY_STATE_TEXT and FORM_REQUIRED_INFORMATION for example. In which file should I look for fixing this? All the texts from the Master language files are missing. The see what I mean: MY WEBPAGE CHMODD is fine! It looks like the path is just off somehow in the file which controls all the general define text parts. Replacing the language master files doesn't help. Thanks for any help! Jeannette
♥Vger Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 You are using a template which may use a different structure to the default osCommerce. It's my guess that the information which is normally in includes/languages/your_language.php has either been overwritten/deleted or is located in a different place as a result of using the template. Vger Hi Vger, thank's for your reply, but a wrong guess I'm afraid. The structure of the files and what is in it is, is exactly the same as the default OScommerce. Also: everything was working fine (as far as I can remember) before changing some stuff for this contribution. Which files call the text? What string should I look for? That's what I want to know. This contribution added/changed things in: - includes/application_top.php - includes/header.php - includes/classes/currencies.php - admin/configuration.php
Njuwdaij Posted July 24, 2006 Author Posted July 24, 2006 It is working now. For anybody who has the same problem... The file with the error was: application top.php Because I had used the version of jm100 august 4th 2005 which is adjusted for Australians only, there was a line removed. The line I am talking about (around 284) should be: // include the language translations require(DIR_WS_LANGUAGES . $language . '.php'); So if you have a multiple language shop and want to use the Down for Maintenance v2.1, please mind to use the right contrib and/or add this line. Jeannette
