bewheels Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Hello, I am looking at using os Commerce and need to know whether or not I can manage 2 different stores through one os Commerce panel. For example: if I have 2 sites that are owned by the same person and all orders are handled by this one person. Each of these 2 sites sit on 2 different servers but both of their stores sit on yet another server space where os Commerce is installed. I would then set up 2 different stores with one os Commerce. I would then be able to manage both stores from one admin. I could download all orders from both stores through one admin. I could use just one SSL. I would set up server spaces like this: www.site_x.com This would be the general site. When you enter the store part of the site you would get sent to www.stores_for_x_and_y.com www.site_y.com This would be the general site. When you enter the store part of the site you would get sent to www.stores_for_x_and_y.com www.stores_for_x_and_y.com This is where os Commerce would be and would handle the stores for both sites. I have seen this done with Miva. Can os Commerce do this? Thanks
