mushindo Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I ran into a very perplexing issue today, with a client of ours who is currently hosting with GoDaddy.com. We did an install of oscommerce with Google XML Site Map, and Search Engine Friendly URLs turned on, yet neither of these items are working at all. All coding was verified, and proper permissions set for the google xml sitemap contribution. I have been using these contributions, including my updated versions of them, for quite some time and never ran across these issues before. My question is this: Does anyone here, including the OSC team, know what server components, settings / configurations, need to be in place on a server in order for these items to work? This customer is considering upgrading with godaddy to a dedicated server in hopes this will resolve these issues, however without knowing what items are preventing these from working, I have instructed him to hold off. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. :) Sincerely, Bruce 19 contributions submitted
