New Install Error

Univil

I just did a fresh install of osCommerce and when I go to either the main catalog page or the admin page, I receive the same error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function tep_db_connect() in C:\Webspace\DMDTech\brazzaz\brazzaz.com\www\catalog\admin\includes\application_top.php on line 61

What have I done wrong? I searched the forums for this and found two other topics. One of which received no responses whatsoever and another which made a suggestion to replace all the files with the original files (which, since this is a new install, doesn't apply). I would like to have the site up and running by Monday for the customer so any help would be appreciated.

I haven't changed it, so it's the one that was installed. This is the one in the admin/includes folder (I figure if we can fix one, the other should be the same):

Not a problem. Here it is without any of the db connectivity info:

This is my last post of the night, here goes.

Put http://localhost in the first variable as indicated in the file also change:

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/');

to:

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', 'admin/');

Hope this helps

Thanks, but that didn't work. I was looking around on the server and found the old configure.php file I was using before. After a server crash, I decided to rebuild the store rather than try to get the old one to work (there was only one product). Here is my old configure.php file:

As the Admin is a subdirectory of catalog, you might try changing:

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/admin/');

to this:

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', '/catalog/admin/');

or this:

define('DIR_WS_ADMIN', 'catalog/admin/');

(without the leading '/')

(Just an observation. I'm just a very little bit more than a newbie myself...)

Responses to my problems seem to be a bit sparse. Is there nobody who can help me? I'm running into a brick wall here. I'm even willing to pay if I have to.
