rabbitseffort Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 chmodd your images directory to writable--it must have defaulted to read only during your install "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer. --Ken Kesey"

mushindo Posted July 22, 2006 Posted July 22, 2006 I agree with Monika on suggested FTP program. Another one, which is more features but more difficult to use, is SmartFTP. One thing I will point out when setting file / folder permissions, which is consistant on most FTP programs when you right click on that folder, is you will see 3 lines of permissions: OWNER GROUP PUBLIC Or something similar. Underneath each you will see usually checkboxes for [ ] Read [ ] Write [ ] Execute As you check each one under each column it will show a number displayed. Like checking off all will show 777, which indicates you want read, write and execute permissions for owner, group and public access. You can get some other good info by looking up "setting folder permissions" or "CHMOD". Hope this helps with the info everyone else has given. Sincerely, Bruce 19 contributions submitted
