Sending the order details

I was wondering if it is possible for oscommerce to send me the order of the customer without them paying at checkout up since our product requires everything to be weighed and will never give the exact weight each and every time so we need to attend to each and every order with great care. I need something that the customer will choose all the products they want to order and then it will send me their order but payment and shipping is done outside of the shopping cart. Is it possible to set up oscommerce this way?

yes ... create a payment module for later confirmation (there are contribs for ask a quote and such), install order editor and make the procedure very clear to users.
