The category image does'nt appear any more

The category image that was appearing at the top of the product list in the category is not there any more.

Instead, I receive there the manufacters list.

How? What's the problem?

I passed all files from catalog to wwwroot, and I think the problem begun after that, so maybe that's the reason.

Any way, how can I fix it?

That manufacturer dropdown list should appear to the left of the category heading image, but it only appears when it's applicable (where there are multiple manufacturers assigned to products within a category/subcategory).

Do you have "image required" set to "true"? (in your admin panel>>configuration>>images)

If not, set it to "true" and see if there is now a "broken" image in the spot where the category image should be.

If that's the case...just try re-entering the image for the category. I think there's a bug associated w/ that. If you select "edit" for a category, even to change the name, the image will disappear. :blink:

image was in "false", because some of my products has no picture.

Any way, even changing it to "true" does'nt help.

Also changing the picture does'nt help.

Other sugestions?

Sorry, I wasn't too clear, I just suggested "true" for image required to see if that made a broken image (red x) appear there instead of nothing.

I'm drawing a blank as to what would cause it to just disappear. Do you have a page I can see? If you don't want to post it here, you can PM me the link.

From what I can think of, there's only 2 ways to make that heading image disappear.

one, would be setting the heading image height and width to 1 and 0

The other would be removing the call for it from the code.

I can't think of how moving your store to the root caused the problem.

Check the settings in admin>>configuration>>images

heading image height

and

heading image width

If those aren't set to 1 and 0 ...then would you like to post your index.php. We can see if it's missing from the code. That's all I can think of.

The heading image height/width is ok.

Here is my index.php.

Maybe the problem is there, since before I had an html main page, and when moving everything to root, I merged it with the index.php file, with almost no knowlege of php.

I thoght the file influences only on the main page, and not the categories.

They are missing from your code.

I tried to paste the whole file w/the additions, but it garbled the Hebrew into ?????? ...so I'll just paste the extra parts.
