Possible PHP / MySQL problem??

Been having a few issues for a while now with a site that was working perfectly for over a year!

 

I can't change the shopping cart at all now -

 

if I try to change a quantity, it changes the quatity of the product above! Looking at the HTML for the shopping cart page, all the product codes are correct....

 

If I try to remove a product (ie, tick the 'remove' box and press 'update' - nothing happens - the page refreshes but the product is still there. BUT - the file in the sessions folder is written to....

 

I'm also still having problems updating products through admin - it just looses data, mangles the description etc and mangles any image uploads over around 12k in size. If I access the server or database directly (ie not through a PHP script) everything works OK....

 

Using Redhat 9, PHP 4.2.2, MySQL 3.23.54 and Apache 2.0.40

 

Any help would be most gratefuly received!
