wishlist3.5d and sts sytem

I am trying to add the wishlist 3.5d. I got it working but then added the sts sytem and now all I get when adding a product is a blank page. I have went through all of the install notes again and they are fine but a couple of things struck me.

 

as /includes/coloumb_right.php right and /include/applicatop_top are not used where should I put these bits of code so they will be used and allow the wishlist contribution to work.
