connieg20 Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Hi, I manage to change the Oscommerce title and replace it with my Store name but when I did that the three links on top moved to the side way off the page. I am just learning and have no idea where to look in the file to change it. When you click the icons it takes you to the Welcome page and What's in my Cart page. Can someone please help me and direct me to the right files? Thanks
KaiAnimation Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Hi Connie- I think I would need to see your website in order to make a suggestion. What I think you did was replace the image on the top of your website and it pushed stuff around. The image you put up there may not have been the same size as the osCommerce logo image and it changed the formatting. The logo image lives in *catalog*/images. The website formatting for the logo lives in *catalog*/includes/header.php. This file has HTML formatting in it and is a good place to try making changes to osCommerce to make it yours. I have actually have removed those three little icons by making replacement images that are only one pixel in size. In the beginning of my time with osCommerce, I made those three icons one pixel in size and matched them to my background. They are still that way. Danny If I'm giving advice, it is based on what path I would take to fix your problem. My path may be wrong.
