How to get rid of other languages

So I already removed the language option from the boxes on the customer end of my site. But whenever I add a new product manually, or use EasyPopulate, it always has huge boxes,or cells, for the other languages(spanish and german), and it's not that i'm ignoarant and don't want support for the languages, I just don't know the languages, and it's not cost effective to translate everything....back to the point... I add things one at a time, and I have to constantly scroll down to get to the update button, and after 3 or 4 times, it's annoying. How can I remove all language support, EXCEPT english, from the store? When I type in a item description, I just want the english box, nothing more. IS there a contrib I have to go through or just edit a file or three? I don't want to just delete languages folders and pray for the best. Any ideas? It would also streamline my spreadsheets for easypopulate as well.

We must be the change we wish to see in the world.

goto your osc Admin->Localization->Languages You should be able to add/remove languages from there.

Thanks, you're the man. You've helped me out on more than one occasion. Sorry, I should've taken a better look at the manual for such an obvious thing. But this will now make things a lot easier for me and my partner.

Is there an easy way to get rid of the Languages infobox? I disabled everything but english and it still show the box with just the one flag, so it seems rather pointless to have it there. Same with the currency box. I only have US Dollars but still shows the box. Thanks for any help.

Jacen - you should also remove the actual files from the languages directory.

John - you need to edit the includes/column_left.php (or column_right.php - depending upon where the box is at) and remove the line of code that calls it. It will be obvious since it is one line and the name is languages.php.

Thanks Jack. I'll give it a try later today.
