geedubya15 Posted July 9, 2006 Posted July 9, 2006 I just reopened my site this summer. For some reason I havent gotten 1/4 of the sales from it that I did last year. Yesterday as I was looking around on my Froogle (or Google Base...i guess) account. I did a search for my site GrabBagger. A few results come up. I then click the ''All items from seller'' link. As I look at all my products I see that every product I have listed has quotes around it. Ex. -> "Plantronics Push to Talk Amplifier" The funny thing is when I do a search in Froogle ("Plantronics Push to Talk Amplifier" ). With the quotes included my site comes up. When I do a search and do not include the quotes (Plantronics Push to Talk Amplifier) my site is not listed in the results. I think this has something to do with my sales from Froogle. Because from my knowledge people usually do searches w/o the quotes. And my products are only coming up when searched with quotes because the Product Name has quotes in it. I checked my Froogle/GoogleBase feed (exported from Easy Populate) the last time before I uploaded it No quotes. I was assuming something in the code is adding quotes. Maybe Froogle/GoogleBase is automatically adding quotes. But when I look at other companies feeds....no quotes. Where or what should I check to stop quotes from surrounding my product names Further Examples: "Kensington Mac 1 Button ADB/USB" "Cables To Go 12' Xbox S-Video/Composite" "Mobile Edge WiFi Signal Locator"
