To ensure that your integration is successful it's important that you read this email thoroughly and follow the provided instructions. OSCommerce support their own cart and the latest contribution can be obtained from the following URL: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ons,441/page,17 Please use the following Link to obtain the Protx fraud prevention guide, as Protx takes no liability for fraudulent transactions processed through your website and it is important that you are aware of the options available to you. (http://www.protx.com/downloads/docs/VspFraudPrevention.pdf) You may find it useful to print this email, then tick-off each section as you complete it. Please pay particular attention to the 'going live' section, as failure to comply with our requirements is the most common cause of problems when making the transition from test to live. It allows you to process credit card payments in addition to those accepted through your website. It is intended as a back-up service, in case your website is offline (e.g. for maintenance), to allow you to still accept payments from your customers. VSP Terminal can also be used for mail-order and call-centre activity, but for this you will need to obtain a different type of merchant number. Detailed information on using VSP Terminal is in the VSP Admin user guide GOING LIVE Before your account status can be changed from test to live it's essential that you have completed the following steps: 1. Complete the testing of your Unique test account: When logging in to your VSP Admin tool we need to see: At least one user account has been created. At least one payment transaction has been made from your website.* At least one refund has been processed through VSP Admin. * Test VSP Terminal transactions will not be accepted as proof of testing. 2. Complete the online direct debit instruction: Before you can go Live with Protx you will need to sign up for Direct Debit, to allow your monthly payment to be taken. You can do this by clicking on the following link: https://www.protx.com/directdebit/ Invoices are sent out on the 2nd of each month and the Direct Debit is taken on the 16th of each month. 3. Request your live account: To change your account status to live you need to send an email to: [email protected] Important notes about your email request: Your live account request must contain your VSP Vendor Name. You should attach your company logo for inclusion on your payment pages. This should be a maximum of 200 x 100 pixels, in .gif format. It should be sent at least 24-hours before you need your account to be live. Live account requests are processed in the order in which they are received. Failure to comply with any of the specified requirements will result in your request being declined, leading to a further 24-hour delay in your account being made live. The Protx Pricing policy is based on a monthly fee. You will be charged for the whole month, irrespective of the day / date your account is uploaded to the Live Server. CustomSoftwareUK Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Hi Just picking up on the end of this thread. I have installed the Protx module into our website but there is no place for the VSP Admin Password or the Encryption password. The only field available is the Vendor name. Can anyone please shed any light on how to resolve this issue. Many thanks
♥Vger Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 All you need to input is the Vendor Name. The Protx VSP User Name and Password is only for when you login to the Protx VSP Test or Live Terminal. The advice about installing a protx module into php is old and outdated - no longer valid. Vger
