order stock report from current ORDERS

i'm looking for a mod that will allow me to review an order and check products NOT in stock and add them to a REORDER listing. here's the scenario:

1. i don't use the inventory capability in osc because most of our products have options...like color:red, black, silver.

2. when processing orders for the day, i print them off and then looking at each one determine if we have everything in stock or not. when i find one that we do not have in stock i manually WRITE that product on a piece of paper to order later.

what i'd like to do is just check a box for each product in the order that is out of stock and press a button "add to restock order list" and go on to the next order. then when completed print the 'restock order list'.

has anyone see a mod like this? anyone else interested in such a mod?
