database install problem

Hi

I'm just trying to get up and running and new to php databases. I cant get access to my database during the install.

I've created the database name "kite" and user "josh" and password "pass" but keep geting the message:

 

"Access denied for user 'res3258@localhos'@'loki.instanthosting.com.au' (using password: YES)"

 

Did anyone have similar issues, know how I can fix this or where i can find out

You dint specify the correct database settings at the time of install
