Replace "New Products for July" box with "Products" box

Hi,

 

Background of the issue:

 

In my existing web site, the content of the front page is displaying "What's New Here?" then displaying the "New Product for July" Box.

 

What I want to change:

 

I would like to remove the "What's New Here?" and the "New Product for July" Box in the front page and replace it with one of my best selling categories, eg. LCD TV Mounting.

 

It will appreciate if you could provide a solution in order to fix this issue.

From memory you can edit the what's new here text from either language/english.php or includes/index.php - or a similar file to them ;)

 

As for specifying certain categories on the front page I would use the contribution 'open featured sets' and remove the new products box. (I'm still searching for a way to remove it myself, which is how I found this post ;) )

I have removed it. From memory fairly sure I just commented it out. Now if only I could remember which file lol
