OsCommerce for Campaign Contributions

Hello, it has been more than 2 years since my last oscommerce installation / configuration. While I am a whole lot more comfortable editting php code now, I am still at a loss for some customization techniques. I have phpmyadmin, etc. I have all the tools necessary to be able to do this, but I am crunched for time.

 

Now 'Im working on a campaign and need a cart that can handle campaign contributions - payment module is authorize.net - I chose oscommerce because i will need to be able to grab additional required information that is required by state law from everyone who contributes to a political campaign. I need to "Strip out" a lot of things like "Manufacturer" etc. basically I just need radio buttons that will display a contribution amount up to the maximum allowed. We are required to maintain contributor's information in case of audit - we are required to ask if the contributor has any state contracts, etc. -- also branding is a huge issue - "design" - I will have to edit the footer to include the mandatory "Paid for by and endorsed by . . . etc. with the campaign treasurer information, etc. --- is there anyone other there in oscommerce forum-land who has used oscommerce for taking / proccessing donations for a political campaign who can help me through this - we are behind schedule - I have printed tons of documentation already and am ready to start the initial install and configuration. I am looking for a mentor to get us through the tough spots. Thanks in advance, I look fwd to hearing from anyone willing to help me with this! Target launch is July 12!!!!
