Customers Populate

Hi all

 

I need to upload many customers from excel. Can somebody give me a way of doing so?

Ok I will be assuming that your excel is a copy of a former Database with everything done coreclly

 

1) you go to your server and oppen the MySQL manager

 

2) Look for a insert

 

3) Fin your excel on your PC and press Up load

Hi,

 

No, I don't have anything in osc customers. I have name, address, tel etc etc.. in the excel. I need to populate the osc customers. Then I will send an email to all customers telling them that their account has been created.

 

These customers where offline. addresses and name have been given by Business Card.

It would be best for them to re-create the account online. But I have told them that we will do it.

 

I can create one by one, but it would take ages.

I know that information of each customer go into: table_customers, address and customers info. this is the problem. :rolleyes:

 

any idea?
