I want to clean up the first page.

I must be missing something. I want to get rid of reviews and news etc. I have a small store and they just are not needed.

Hmm..

 

I think if you open up /Ocommerce/index.php

 

you can edit them out of that page,

 

or, it might be under includes/languages/index.php

 

but it is one of those. Just open up the page in a text editor or Dreamweaver, and search carefully, and you can find where those boxes are inserted. Just erase them, upload the page again, and they should be gone...

no, you edit the catalog\includes\column_left.php and catalog\includes\column_right.php files and remove them from there.
