o0dekker0o Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I am pretty much new to php, msql and oscommerce, i mainly design website templates and would like to know a few things. 1) I would like to create a website like os shop Is this a basic setup with standard colours of a osCommerce shop ? 2) os shop You can see extra options at the bottom of the screen (dropdown menus). Is this easy to set from the main oscommerce control panel ? 3) How easy/difficult is it to make my own styles, is it a matter of just changing button graphics or running off new php files :'( 4) see question 2, by adjusting these dropsdowns, how easy/difficult is it to dynamically update the main price ? 5) Can i import a comma separated value text file into osCommerce and run a store off that ? 6) I understand before i set up osCommerce i have to make a MSQL database, once the database is made and saved onto the web server does osCommerce make it's own tables etc from my inputs, ie title, product desc, picture, price etc. and so on.
