Rkoa63 Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Hello everyone, I'm trying to enter in my "conditions of use" and when i go to define languages<english.php<conditions.php and attempt to enter in text where it says "put here your conditions of use information" it always goes back to that after i enter in my text and save it. Is there a default setting somewhere that is not allowing me to change the text? Thanks for any help in advance. -Mike

rabbitseffort Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 I would not use the admin section to alter any files--use something like dreamweaver--it is far more reliable. Then also check the above post--the permissions may be read only--change them to read/write "I must admit that I personally measure success in terms of the contributions an individual makes to her or his fellow human beings." ---Margaret Mead--- "The answer is never the answer. What's really interesting is the mystery. If you seek the mystery instead of the answer, you'll always be seeking. I've never seen anybody really find the answer -- they think they have, so they stop thinking. But the job is to seek mystery, evoke mystery, plant a garden in which strange plants grow and mysteries bloom. The need for mystery is greater than the need for an answer. --Ken Kesey"
Rkoa63 Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 Thanks for the quick replys. I had the website built for me, so i have no idea what the permissions are set at. How/where do i access them to change it? Thanks again. -Mike
Silverado05 Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Hard to say since we don't know how your host has things set up. It will being an option in your File Manger for your Host NOT in the admin panel of OSC. Search the forum and contributions before posting. If that doesn't work, keep looking, then post. The forum is for seeking help and advice NOT for someone to do your work for you. Try to do something on your on, if you are going to run a shop then learn how it works.
