Backup error 1064

I have a new installation of 2.2MS2 (051113).

 

I have tried to perform a backup.

 

Whichever options I try -- compressed, not compressed, download only --

I always get the following error message:

 

1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'option,ordering,admin_menu_img,iscore,params from jos_components' at line 1

 

select id,name,link,menuid,parent,admin_menu_link,admin_menu_alt,option,ordering,admin_

menu_img,iscore,params from jos_components

 

[TEP STOP]

 

It does create a backup file in the backup directory,

but no download dialogue is started.

 

I'm new to osCommerce and SQL.

 

I've only played with variable names in the language files;

haven't changed any 'code' as such.

 

Any ideas?

If you haven't made any code modifications then someone else has because the jos_components table is not part of the default oscommerce database schema.

that is not oscommerce tables

 

u must be using mambo which is a content management system

 

make sure u install it correctly.

Lesson: Don't install osCommerce over Joomla without clearing the database first!
