This is a Live Shop.

This site opened to the public on July 1st.

I was told there are some problems with creating an account, but when I go an create an account myself everything is fine. Can you please try this and give me some feeback.

Also if you could please provide feedback on the design, colors, loading time, display of products., etc.. Anything that comes to mind will be appreciated.

I just instaled the Header Tags contribution and I am in the process of learning how to efficiently use this... if you have any tips, tricks, ideas or comments about this contribution the please spread the word.

If you are in the USA and would like to make a purchase, you can use this coupon code:as10pz to get a 10% off your order.

*Another thing: When you get to the Payment Information page... in the "Gift Vouchers and Coupons (CCGV installed)"... if you first put the credit card info, then the redeem code and click on "redeem" it acknowledges the coupon and applies the discount, but it erases the credit card info you put in, then you have to retype it, and the you can proceed with checkout with the discount applied.

-My question is... is this a bug, or is that the way it is?

I know that if you first put in the coupon code and redeem it, and then put the credit card info you wont have to retype it... but doesnt is make more sense to put all at once and get it done?

Aack! I don't like flash. :'( It was kinda cute the first time, but then every time I go back to the home page, I have to wait and watch it again. Personally, I would just take it out, but if not, at least make it a splash page with a "skip the intro" option. Just my opinion though.

Also, it wasn't immediately clear from the flash movie that you only sold ink and cartridges. I was looking around for a printer... Maybe a few words on the homepage saying what you do. Search engines love text.

If I want to click on a brand at the top, I actually have to click it twice. Once to "activate the control" and again to actually click the brank. Not fatal, but annoying.

When I click the Specials link at the bottom, it takes me back to the home page.

Your shipping policy is very confusing. Don't you have to have a policy before it can be under review? I really want to know how much it will cost, but at a minimum you still need to answer: What carrier do you ship with? How long will it take? Where do you ship to? Are PO Boxes OK? Do you accept returns for refund? Exchanges? For how long?

I get the "Warning, this page contains non-secure items" in the My Account setup. I'm guessing you have a picture link that isn't tied to https - that's scary for people who aren't sure what that means.

You have a toll free number, which I like. But an address would also be nice. Am I going to get charged sales tax in some states?

Also, something is loading kinda slow. I'm guessing it's the background cause it's on every page and your thumbs don't seem to be the problem. Might want to look at the size of your background files.

Despite all that, it's a nice start. But I think you'll improve your conversions if you make some of these changes.

Good luck,

Adrienne

I love Flash, but only when it is used in the right places, I think this is way over the top, and adds nothing to the page. It's also far too long, speed it up and simplify it or drop it.

Forget the comment about your site running slowly. I completely forgot I was running a job in the background, and it was actually just ME. :-"

Sorry,

Adrienne

well, you might still be right.. i noticed that the header does take some time to load... since its all slices.. Is there a way to make the slices load faster? I saw another oscommerce that also has a similar sliced header that loads way faster than mine...
