Backorder - Days Until Restock

Hello,

 

I have a two fold question:

 

1) Is it possible (via a contribution) to have a product say "4 Days Until This Item Is Back In Stock" instead of setting a date for the restock? Setting a date MM/DD/YYYY makes the product invisible until the date is today's date.

 

2) Is it possible to specify a quantity for the attributes? We have a product where the inventory is more applicable to which grip they use, instead of which tennis raquet they pick.
