Authorize.net payment module ?

Greetings All !

OK, I've just configured and am currently testing the standard Authorize.net payment module that came with the PREVIOUS version of OSC (2.1, I believe).

Is that module completely out-of-date?

I tried testing this by making a simulated order / check-out... and then plugging in the test credit card number (which I grabbed from Admin... it's the one with all the 1's in it). When I hit enter to go to the next screen after entering this number, the browser then says I'm at "https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll", but it shows the webstore, along with some red-backgrounded text that says "There has been an error processing your credit card. Please try again."

I just want to be sure, before I go putting debug statements into that payment module, that I'm not barking up the wrong tree here. I'd like to make sure that this module SHOULD still work with Authorize.net. ??

(I see there's some other contribution out there related to this, but I'd rather not install another contribution if I have to, especially since it might not work with 2.1. Yeah, I know... I plan on upgrading this store later.)

Thanks!

Correction: I'm on 2.2 milestone 1, not milestone 2.

Thanks!

Well, looks like my current authorizenet.php file is identical to the one that's pushed out on the current downloads page.

So I guess I'll start troubleshooting that module.

So far, my research is suggesting that the store owner needs to go into their Authorize.net control panel, go to Settings --> Payment Form --> Form Fields... and uncheck all required fields.

I'm asking the owner of the store I'm working on to do this now. So far, she's been reluctant to do so and has been trying to turn off just the "First Name" in the "Ship To" fields (as opposed to "Bill To"), but that's not working.

I'm encouraging her to uncheck them all... and to double-check with the folks at Authorize.net if she likes.

Thanks!
