sbazsi Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 How could i put the TEXT_MAIN put to the database, so it could be edited with a WYSIWYG editor? Is there any idea or contrib? I want the welcome screen edit with a WYSIWYG editor. Put there images, formatted texts and so on.
choosealogin Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 There are a few here that will do that, or at least get you close... http://www.oscommerce.com/community?contri...mp;category=all
sbazsi Posted July 3, 2006 Author Posted July 3, 2006 There are a few here that will do that, or at least get you close...http://www.oscommerce.com/community?contri...mp;category=all My problem is that the osC stores the greeting text in a file. how could i make a field in the database, and edit it with a wysiwig editor?
choosealogin Posted July 3, 2006 Posted July 3, 2006 Yes, I understand... It's not necessarily exactly what you want, but you should be able to follow the examples and get the job done...I think? Look at something like STORE_NAME and how it's entered and then pulled from the db as needed throughout the shop. Duplicate how that is set up and that should be it. Did you look at this one: http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri.../search,WYSIWYG Once installed, you can use the tinyMCE cross-browser WYSIWYG editorfor any textarea field in your osC admin. This contribution comes with several examples of areas to use it such as: Page Header Page Footer Catalog Main Page content and Greeting areas Contact US Message Support: http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=196850
