Problems with a template

I have installed a template for my OScommerce store, not sure which but it can be seen in action here www.redfieldsgardencentre.netfirms.com the template looks nice am veyr happy with that but i do not seem to be able to use any of the contributions on this site with it, it always comes up with errors.

 

For example, i have just added the ask product question mod to the site, but when i click on the click i get the following message

 

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare tep_show_category() (previously declared in /mnt/w0200/d37/s21/b028502f/www/shop/includes/header.php:135) in /mnt/w0200/d37/s21/b028502f/www/shop/includes/boxes/categories.php on line 13

anyone know why this is, this is one of the mmajor mods i would need for my site to function as i hope it to

Templates often use sloppy coding. Your problem is to do with the template, so you need to get back to the people you bought it off.

The templates tend to stuff everything into header.php so don't expect to be able to use contribs without doing your own work. If e.g. a contrib uses column_right/left, it's likely that your template uses header.php leading to errors.

 

Vger is right - either go back to the people who sold you this to get them to help, or you need to figure out how your template works & then manually merge the contrib into it.
