Sid04 Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Just wondering....shouldnt I be getting an email sent to the store owners email address when an order is placed? Im only getting an email sent to the address I have entered for "send extra order emails to", not the address I have listed as the stores email address. Im pretty sure it USED to send an email to both addresses, but I have no clue as to why it doesnt anymore. Can anybody help me pinpoint what code should be sending the default email to the store address? Thanks!

I had a store owner who had a few email addresses and the order was sent to all of them except for her aol account. Of course I couldnt see in her aol account to know if it could be a spam filter or something but just letting you know what I encountered. I thought this stuff was gonna be easy!! BACK IT UP BEFORE YOU JACK IT UP!!!!

The forum is for seeking help and advice NOT for someone to do your work for you. Try to do something on your on, if you are going to run a shop then learn how it works.

Im saying that IF I didnt have any emails in the 'send extra order emails to' field that I wouldnt get ANY order emails. Shouldn't it send an email to the email listed as the store email address?

So if you didnt add anything to the 'send extra order emails to' field, you would get NO notification of an order? For SOME reason I thought it used to send one to me by defualt. Thanks
