PLease Help! New products Box

I have spent all afternoon searching for the answer and no luck. I have put in a new product and it does not show up in the new products box. The number is set to 10 in the admin section so it should show right??? The box is basically just the header, do I need to resize the box? You can look at northwesttacticallc.com/store I just started to add products today and I noticed that it did not come up.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Anybody??? I think it is related to another issue as well. I have a product in and when you go to the catagory it is supposed to be in it's not there and I get an error at the bottom that say's "error unable to determine page link"

 

I think these two are related I just don't know were to look or how to fix it.

Usually "unable to determine the page link!" is caused by the stock function "search engine safe urls"

 

Look at the setting for that in admin>>

 

configuration>>my store>>Use Search-Engine Safe URLs (still in development) ...switch it to FALSE

Well, that did something. When I click on the catagory button now, it just dumps me into the main page. And the product still does not come up into the new products box.

When you said it's set to 10 in admin, was that "new products module" or "new products listing"? The one that's giving you trouble is "new products module".

The new products listing is set at 10, the new products module is set to 9, I changed it to 10 also and no change. I am going to add some more products and see if something happens.

This is driving me nuts :'( Do I need to enlarge the box or is it automatic like the rest of the boxes??? Can anyone help?

I put the MFG in when I put the products in..... HMMM, I know it must be something simple, but I just can't figure it out.

for some reason, your includes/modules/new_products.php had this line

 

new infoBox($info_box_contents, false, false);

 

 

 

instead of this line

  new contentBox($info_box_contents);

 

 

working now!
