I switched my store to a new server, everything was working fine on the old one, but someone bought the site off me and wanted it switched to there godaddy server. When it was on my server everything was working perfectly.

Now that we have switched to a new server, you get to the confirmation checkout page, right after you check the last box that you agree to the terms, and you click confirm order which is the last buttom to click before it charges your credit card, it just thinks and thinks and thinks then eventually goes to a internet explorer error page, Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage, and in firefox it just goes to a completely blank page. The order is not processed and while checking with authorize.net, there is no activity of that transaction so it doesnt even get sent to authorize.net. I have a feeling its either the new servers and the modules on the server and having a few perl modules or what not, not installed, or its the fact taht the database has not been installed correctly but if it wasnt installed correctly it wouldnt go to the very last page and stop working.

Can someone help me out? by the way the page its giving the error in is checkout_process.php.

can someone tell me the needed perl modules and needed server side extensions that are required for it work, and if there is any other solution. Thank a million

Hi.

Did you get this resolved? I'm having the same problem and I think it has something to do with cURL and Authorize.net running on a godaddy.com server. Everything else works fine for me but our company wants to switch merchant accounts and use Authorize.net as the payment gateway. I'm trying to get it working but I get the loong wait after clicking the button to process the tranasaction and then the blank page.

Does anyone know a solutions?

Thanks!

Joe

There's been some GoDaddy customers in the offical PayPal IPN thread which got the module to work after changing the fsocket code to work with goDaddy firewall - have a look in there or on the goDaddy help site to look for advice on firewalls / ports etc.
