rosemary Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 Help is much appreciated . . . I am trying to drastically modify the look of left navigation area. What is the file that controls the presentation of the left navigation? column_left.php controls only the functionalities of the stuff in the left nav column. All the files in the \includes\boxes\ folder control functionalities too. I've looked everywhere and just can't seem to find file . . . specifically the file that references corner_left.gif, corner_right.gif, corner_right_left.gi, arrow_right.gif. Does this file control only the table layout of the left navigation column (and not any functionalities)? Meaning if I change this file drastically, it will not affect the functionalities for other transactions? I need to make the 3 cells for the "Categories" heading into 1 cell, and remove the word "Categories" . . . because I have my own heading graphics. I also don't need "Manufacturers", "What's New", "Quick Find", "Information" boxes. But I do need to add a bottom graphics to the bottom of the left navigation column to "complete" the look of the heading graphic. I imagine that I also add this in this file too. The table layout here is created with PHP code . . . I am only a beginner in PHP . . . so I am having a hard time correctly modifying the table structure here. rosemary Posted July 2, 2006 Author Posted July 2, 2006 OK, I've eliminated the "Manufacturers", "What's New", and "Quick Find" by modifying the column_left.php file (am keeping the "Information" box) . . . Things are getting simplified a bit. :) Nonetheless, I still need help getting rid of the "Categories" header in includes/classes/boxes.php file . . . Keeping my nose on the grind stone on a nice holiday weekend . . . sigh . . . :'( Rose
